This car has been dry stored for all of these years, still has all the cobwebs around it, I brought this back to our workshop, put it on the ramp, drained the old fuel, put fresh fuel in it as you can see by the video she started up and sounds good There appears to be an air lock in the fuel pump, it will only run for a small period of time by putting fuel in the carburettor As you can see it more or less is a complete car, the only thing I can find missing is the front seat belts but these will only be cheap to buy The ignition key is very stiff to turn, I didn't want to force it so I removed the ignition switch off the back of the barrel, Ideally you will need to buy a new barrel The parts are readily available for this car As you will see from my pictures, I am being brutally honest about this car, the chassis looks like its been changed at some point, hence its galvanised, I have inspected the chassis on the ramp, it is very sold The front floors have gone, as have the outer sills, the one rear floor has gone, I would personally put all new floors with outer sills on The paint has cracked, it is still on its original paint The hood is ripped and will need replacing and as you will see from my pictures the front drivers seat will need re-trimming Personally I would do the floor and the drivers seat and run it in this patina look ! but its up to whoever wants to buy it When these car are restored, being a Charleston Special, they are worth a lot money, an appreciating classic The car is still on the DVLA data base I have applied for a V5 and waiting for it to come Viewing welcome, can be viewed on a ramp, please call to arrange or discuss I also have many more detailed pictures contact me and I can WhatsApp them Delivery can be arranged request a quote Being sold as a restoration project, no warranties given or implied
